Narre Warren is predominantly 1990s and 2000s estate housing, with the older parts of the suburb around the original centre carrying housing from the 1970s and 1980s. Most of what we coat here is an integrated double garage with internal access, on a slab somewhere between twenty and thirty five years old, with consistent construction across each estate.
That vintage is a useful one to work with, because the slab has finished moving and finished releasing construction moisture, but it has not had the decades of contamination an inner suburban floor carries. What it often does have is a first generation coating from the 2000s, a paint job or a roll on kit, that has now chalked, yellowed or begun peeling at the edges and needs to come off completely.

Not over the top of it, no. That is a first generation coating from the 2000s reaching the end of its life, and anything applied over a delaminating layer inherits the delamination. It has to be ground off completely first. The good news is that estate slabs of this vintage are usually in decent shape underneath, having finished settling and released their construction moisture, so once the old coating is off there is often very little repair work needed.
