There are oil stains in my Cranbourne garage. Will they come back through?
Not if they are dealt with properly, and they will if they are not. Oil penetrates well below the visible surface, so grinding the top layer off and coating over the rest leaves the contamination sitting there, and it migrates back up through the system over time. We grind past the contaminated layer and treat affected areas separately before the base coat goes on. It is one of the more common findings on the older housing near the original town centre.
