A hard-wearing, non-slip, dust-free garage floor that's easy to clean, looks fantastic, and is backed by a 7-year guarantee and warranty. The system most of our customers choose — and the one we'd choose for our own homes.
Epoxy Flake is a layered floor system built specifically for the conditions a garage throws at it. Hot tyres, oil, fuel, dropped tools, dragged-in dirt — none of it touches the surface. The colour flakes give it a subtle, professional finish that hides minor scuffs and small marks better than any other coating we've used.
It goes down in four bonded layers — primer, base coat, colour flake broadcast, and a non-slip polyurethane topcoat — to create a sealed, seamless surface that performs and looks the part for decades.
Four bonded layers create a seamless surface that won't lift, peel, or wear thin. The flake adds mechanical strength and grip — not just looks.
Oil, fuel, brake fluid, paint, battery acid, household cleaners — none of them penetrate. Wipe and you're done.
The polyurethane topcoat is textured for grip — safe to walk on when wet, with no "tyre squeak" you get from smooth epoxy.
Once it's sealed, bare concrete stops shedding. No more grey film on cars, tools, or boxes — and nothing tracked into the house.
Most residential garages are completed in 1–2 days. Walk on it the next morning, drive on it within 48 hours of completion.
We back the full system in writing. Materials and workmanship — covered for a full seven years.
The colour flake blend is the easiest way to make the floor your own. We carry dozens of pre-mixed combinations — from subtle greys and earthy neutrals to sharper blends with copper, blue or terracotta accents.
When you request a quote, we'll help you choose the blend that suits your space — and we can get samples to you so you're never guessing from a screen.
Popular blends include: Granite Grey, Charcoal & Copper, Sandstone, Stormy Blue, Carbon, and Outback Earth.

Single, double, triple — we've done every size. The most common reason customers call us is they're sick of the dust and the stains. Within two days they have a floor that wipes clean, looks finished, and they actually want to spend time in.

Hobby workshops, home gyms, mancaves, storage sheds — anywhere you want a sealed, easy-to-clean concrete surface that handles wheeled tools, oil, and the occasional dropped spanner. Same system, same warranty.
A flake floor isn't paint. Each layer plays a specific role, and skipping or rushing any one of them is why most cheap epoxy jobs fail within a few years. This is how we do it.
Diamond grind the concrete, fill any cracks, then apply a penetrating primer that mechanically bonds with the slab.
Roll on the pigmented epoxy base. This is the colour layer the flake will sit in — and the layer that handles most of the load.
Hand-broadcast colour flakes into the wet base coat to full rejection — meaning the floor is completely covered, no gaps.
Once cured, we scrape off any loose flake and seal the whole floor with a clear, non-slip polyurethane topcoat. Done.
Properly installed, our flake system is built to last for decades in a residential garage. The full system is covered by our 7-year written guarantee and warranty on materials and workmanship.
Yes. The flake itself creates a textured surface, and the polyurethane topcoat is purpose-formulated for grip — even when wet. This is one of the biggest practical reasons people choose flake over a smooth metallic or single-tone epoxy.
In nearly all cases, yes. The diamond grinding step removes existing sealers, oil contamination, and surface damage. Cracks are filled with a structural epoxy filler before the primer goes down. If your slab has a deeper structural issue, we'll tell you on the quote — but it's rare.
You can walk on it the next morning. Light foot traffic is fine after 24 hours. Vehicle traffic — including hot tyres — after 48–72 hours from final topcoat. We'll give you the exact times for your specific job at handover.
Mop with warm water and a mild detergent. That's it. No special cleaners, no waxing, no resealing. For tough marks, a soft scrubbing pad works. We'll leave you a one-page care guide at handover.
Yes — you choose from dozens of blends, and we can get full-size samples to you so you can see them in your own light. If you want a custom mix, we can usually do that too at no extra cost.
